Mobile Phones

Due to a recent change in the law, the commission of the offence of using a mobile phone whilst driving, brings about not only the imposition of a fine but also of 3 penalty points.

With that of course, comes the dangers of the loss of a driving licence through the totting up process, subject to any successful argument of exceptional hardship. Any such prosecution might also open the possibility for a driver to argue Special Reasons to obviate the application of penalty points.
